amber 03:52
hey let's, move to the stars fall through the ages, to the sea floor start again, start again with me in your arms time stills for us when we ask so I asked did you ask? 100 years, ain't nothing to us fall again, fall again to my arms, my arms are we meant for this? golden light? fossilized, fossilized bugs in amber held forever still alive, still alive time stills for us when we ask so i asked did you ask? did you ask? did you ask? start again, start again

october 04:56
you'll find the truth in the distance wandering twined tangled paths so sure of our difference we forget and play the past i still burn inside smoke under empty skies when did fast get so slow? it's not you, it's just october can't catch up, i'd really just rather go deep breath and it's over keep the quiet lies safer to hide behind i hope she drives you mad i didn't mean it like that i didn't mean it like i didn't mean it like what did you mean it like? slow, slow, slow, slow keep the quiet lies safer to hide behind i hope she drives you mad i didn't mean it like that

slate 03:47
the thinnest skies on a summer night never seen it so quiet, so wide there's nothing left here but changing light forest floor, slate below we pretend we kept each other warm warm we'll stay warm, warm you try to hide but you know that i saw you right? time is a cruel fight, twisting knives forest floor, slate below we pretend we kept each other warm warm we'll stay warm, warm cover us up in snow we'll become the forest floor slate below we lived here, but we won't die here we lived here we lived here, but we won't die here we lived here forest floor, slate below we pretend we kept each other warm warm were we warm? warm? we were warm. we were warm.

about

Dramatic and sad and wholly human. Simply put, I got my heart broken. Sometimes it feels like it never happened, like I dreamt it all. But when I sing these songs it hurts a little and I remember it was real and how far I've come from when it all ended and started something new.

This one is dedicated to anyone who finds themself traveling in a circle. Finding themself back where they thought they'd already been. Maybe it's actually a loop in a bigger circle and you're still moving forward even though it feels endless and painful sometimes. I hope you find easy and light times soon.

So much has changed since I wrote these songs, but I'm in a better place than I've ever been. Thank you for listening to them, me two years ago would be shocked that anyone stopped by to listen even for a second.

To my friends from twitch: I wouldn't be here without you. You guys brighten my days and kept me goin with music and life many times. Thank you isn't enough at this point. I hope I will have more songs to share with you to express my continuing gratitude.

Simon Schlager (aka The Patch) did the engineering, mixing, mastering, question answering. SO MANY THANK YOU's to Simon! He's also a wonderful musician. Find him here: linktr.ee/ThePatchMusic

My sweet, talented friend Leesa Fleming did the photography for the cover and art around the EP. The internet brought us together and I couldn't feel luckier. She relit a spark in me and my art. You can find her here: www.instagram.com/leesa.fleming/

(thank you to my sister, Pasha, Sonya, Kara, Amanda, Leesa, and Simon)
