I didn't have anything written in my notebooks for october like I do for the other two songs. This was a really hard song for me to write. I had some of the worst mental health times and biggest breakdowns I've ever had that october and this song was a huge part of it. I didn't want to write about this anymore so I was determined to write about something entirely different but the lines wanted to be what they wanted to be.

it's angry. and it's sad. and it's me talking to me and him and wanting to hate someone with every fiber of my being but not being able to. october is a really deep loneliness.

Not only did I enjoy the lyrics from the very first listen, it also caused me to reflect not only on the lyrics but what I was feeling.
